He was talking about
A few concerned calls he
Got when the Dow dropped 500 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He spent a bunch of time talking those clients off a ledge.
Honestly, the recent stuff isn’t that big a deal.
But if happens a lot when markets are rough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was completely different than a call I had 20 minutes before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2192 For her, no panicked calls.
\u2192 Just business as usual with
\u2192 Some super client meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She said she never gets panicked calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What is she doing that is so different?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She does:
\u21b3 Planning meetings, monthly newsletter,
\u21b3 Annual reviews, Quarterly reports,
\u21b3 Birthday cards etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But she also messages clients 1-2 times per week.
Much “more” than most advisors.
But her job is “easier”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She sends simple messages:
\u21b3 “I just reviewed your plan, looks good.”
\u21b3 “Here’s how your money has changed
\u21b3 it’s very different than the market.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For her it’s email but it could be another channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her clients know:
1. Where they stand
2. How they are doing
3. And their money \u2260 the market<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By doing a little “more”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
**She changed her clients narrative**<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2192 She neutralized the worry
\u2192 The media creates.
\u2192 Everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She smoothed out the rollercoaster.
